I have been talking about beating the winter blues so much because I am really working at this too! Today, it was cold and rainy, so gray and dreary out there. I had a lunch date with some girlfriends. It was one of those days, you don’t even feel like driving, but just staying in. Of course, I couldn’t cancel, so I forced myself out with my raincoat.

We had a wonderful lunch at a cozy restaurant with a fireplace! Then, we went to a beautiful garden center, and browsed around through plants in bloom and lovely displays. What a wonderful way to beat the winter blues! I highly suggest it! I did not realize how great the flowers and plants would make me feel! I am now lounging around in my Mayan hammock, listening to the rain, and feeling peaceful.
