Algoma Hammocks
Algoma Hammocks, also known as the Algoma Net Company, has been in business for over 100 years, selling hammocks. They are 
based in Algoma, Wisconsin.
They offer a wide variety of hammocks: quilted,fabric, or quick-dry for the pool or lake. They also carry a unique Butterfly chair in seven colors and a patented Sports Couch in three colors.
To all of you fathers out there, Happy Father’s Day! I hope this day is all about you! May you be able to sleep in or get up early an
d have some solitude this morning. Whatever you like to do and whatever makes you happy, this is my wish for you today. Maybe you will be served breakfast in bed or maybe you will be taken out for breakfast or lunch to your favorite restaurant.
Please know how very important your role is. Please don’t take this role lightly. Always strive to be your best and set a good example. Your family is counting on you. You are greatly needed. Don’t forget to make time for yourself to have fun even while you are busy supporting your family. But most of all, have fun with your children! The memories will last a lifetime! And, lastly, take time to relax a little while each day in a hammock! It’s important for your health.
Father’s Day is tomorrow! We have been talking about it for the last week or so because, yes, they are that important! Our Dad’s, that is. The love a father shares with his family is so important. It’s a different kind of love than a Mom’s. Usually, it’s a bit more laid back with Dad. Dad might not care if you don’t pick up your shoes or put the lid down, but nine out of ten Moms will let you hear it! That’s the way it was in my household growing up, anyway.
My Dad is no longer with me and I still miss him terribly. But he left me with some beautiful memories I will always smile about when I recall them. He blessed my life with his gentle love and guidance. What I miss most is his funny sense of humor but luckily, I have inherited that. One of my fondest memories is of him with my sister and I all laying in the rope hammock with Dad telling us stories or reading to us. These are some of my favorite memories. If you are a father, just remember, it doesn’t take a lot to make a fond memory that your child will remember forever.
So, your Dad is a pretty special man to you. He helped you learn to ride a bike and took you hiking. He is getting older but never 
seems to slow down! You are glad that he is still so active, but sometimes you wish he would just relax! You’ve decided on a special masculine looking hammock for him but you are worried that his trees are too far apart in his yard. Oh, no!
A hammock stand will solve that problem quickly! You have so many choices of colors and materials. Would he like a metal stand in black, taupe, or green? Or possibly, he would appreciate a wooden stand. Whatever you choose, your Dad will love it because he is always so easy-going and is used to always letting his family choose first, then he is happy with what is left. He will love his gift of relaxation!
We have been talking about the upcoming day to honor our fathers, Father’s Day this Sunday. You know your Dad the best. You know what he likes because you have, hopefully grown up with him. We have explored a hammock for the yard or patio, a Green Eggs and Hammocks trailer hitch stand for fishing and hunting.
Does your Dad like to camp, by any chance? If he does, I bet he pitches a tent. Or maybe he is a modern day camper with an actual camper to sleep in. Regardless of either, one of the travel hammocks may be a pleasant change for him. He can hang it between two tree with tree straps in a few minutes, then enjoy a restful sleep out in nature but off the ground. His back will thank you also.
Dad is a special person. The saying is that anyone can be a father but it takes someone special to be a “Dad”. He has always been there 
for you, now you want him to know how much you love him and appreciate him. Maybe you admire his selflessness. I always remember that my own Dad would always put my sister and my Mom first. He would always sacrifice so that we were comfortable.
We have been talking about some ideas for Dad for Father’s Day. We thought a hammock would be a nice gift. How about a hammock pillow to go with it? Now he can lay his head on a soft pillow while he is napping or reading the paper. He is going to enjoy his little piece of heaven!
Dad’s always the one that everyone goes to when they need something “fixed”. The bike has a flat tire. The door is squeaking. The list goes on and on…Dad can sometimes take on the role of a handyman. other times, a protector, a teacher, and a friend.
We want to give Dad something to let him know we appreciate his hard work. Maybe he likes to fish and is the outdoor type? The Green Eggs and Hammocks trailer hitch stand would be an awesome gift for him! He could use it for many outdoor activities and be the envy of his buddies!
So, we are thinking of Father’s Day coming up in a couple weeks and remembering our special Dads! You know, anyone can be a father but it takes a special man to be a Dad or a Daddy! We are going to give him the gift of relaxation this year, a hammock!
However, one of the greatest hammock accessories ever is the hammock mister. We should included this for the hot days as he lays in his hammock relaxing. It hooks to the hose and releases a fine mist for cooling when necessary. We are definitely going to be Dad’s favorite this year!
June is the month that we honor our fathers with Father’s Day. Maybe your father is one of those people that you just can’t think of what to buy him. Does he really need another tie? How about another tool for his shed? Do you even know what he already has?
You want to show your Dad how much you appreciate him but aren’t sure how. Why not give him the gift of relaxation? What a thoughtful and caring gift. He probably doesn’t relax enough anyway. A nice quilted hammock in his favorite color would be a gift that he will enjoy for years to come! He won’t feel guilty for using it because it was a special gift to him from you!

Not only do they add the extra touch for a pleasingly pretty spot to look at, but they also add the extra comfort to make your time in your hammock so much more enjoyable. Add a long traditional hammock pillow that ties to your spreader bar. Or for a fun, chic look, add a few smaller pillows in different prints. They don’t have to match perfectly, they will be a unique look.
